Dublin – Jerry Lee Coleman, 55 of Dublin, passed away March 10, 2013 after an extended illness.

Born in Emanuel County, February 23, 1958, Mr. Coleman has lived in Dublin for the past 35 years, prior to he lived in Johnson County for 20 years. Mr. Coleman was self employed as a truck driver before he retired.

Mr. Coleman was preceded in death by his mother and father, James Floyd Coleman and Maxie Lee McKenzie Coleman; four brothers, Eugene, Virgil, Morris, and Clifton Coleman; two sisters, Virginia Black and Martha Sumner.

Funeral services will be held at the Dublin First Church of the Nazarene, Tuesday afternoon, March 12, 2013 at 3:00P.M. Rev Don Hicks will be the officiating minister. Burial will follow at Antioch Baptist Church in Dexter, GA. Visitation will be held at the church from 1:00 to 3:00P.M, the same day.

Mr. Coleman is survived by his wife, Linda Keene Coleman of Dublin; three sons, Travis Coleman (Jaime), Heath Coleman and Jason Leverett (Liza) all of Dublin; two daughters, Melissa Neal and Sherry Fulghum both of Dublin; two brothers, Ronald and Glenn Coleman both of Dublin, six grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers to serve at Mr. Coleman’s service are, Jody, Jonas, Cliff, and Ricky Coleman, Michael Key and Johnny Black. Honorary Pallbearers are Jason Leverett and Joey Keene.

Brantley-Powell Funeral Home of Wrightsville has charge of arrangements.

I was just on here looking at a funeral annoucement and seen where Jerry had passed away. I am so very very sorry, I went to school with him and we were friends. I moved from Wrightsville in 1974 and lost touch with about everyone. Again, I'm so very sorry and your family are in my prayers.
