John was born in Wrightsville Georgia, June 19, 1954. At the age of five, he asked many questions about death and was determined to fulfill his childhood dream of becoming a funeral director. After graduation from Johnson County High School, he continued is education at Brewton Parker College in Mount Vernon, Georgia and received his AA Degree in Pre-Med. In 1974, John enrolled in Mortuary College and received his Degree in Mortuary Administration and the Science of Embalming. John also holds a Certification in Law Enforcement, State Certification in Firearms, Defensive Tactics and Crime Scene Investigation as well as State Certification as a Licensed Criminal Hypnotist through Gwinnett County Law Enforcement Center and a Certified Instructor through the Georgia Police Academy. He is a member of The Family Worship Center in East Dublin, Anderson Masonic Lodge # 243, Dublin Chapter of the Order Of The Eastern Star # 175, Georgia Funeral Directors Association, Sons of the American Legion of Swainsboro, the Georgia Peace Officers Association and a Board Member of the Harley Fulford Memorial Library. John has been a funeral professional for over 25 years.

Roger is a native of Emanuel County. He began his funeral caree in 1993 at the age of 16 with DeLoach Funeral Home in Waynesboro. He also worked with Platts Funeral Home in Augusta and Adams Funeral Home in Dublin. Roger is a Licensed Apprenticeship Funeral Director and Embalmer. He also holds a GA License in Nursing as a Health Care Provider. Rogers goal is to complete his Internship and attend Mortuary College where he can take his necessary testing to become a Licensed Funeral Director and Embalmer.
Roger enjoys outdoor activities,fishing and camping, singing Scared Harp music, but most of all spending time with his family and friends.
Roger is a member of Long Creek Primitive Baptist Church.

Saundra Porter, from Dodge County originally, has lived most of her life in Laurens County. Saundra enjoys working with the elderly, is a licensed cosmetologist and enjoys knitting, crochet and paten. She has been married to Hardy M. Porter, Jr. for over 35 years. Saundra is a member of Macedonian Baptist Church where she is involved with the choir and teaching Sunday School.

Dawn Pollett is a native of Johnson County and married to David Pollett. She attended Johnson County High School and received her GED from Washington County High School. Dawn is a certified member of the Harrison Volunteer Fire Department where she received her certification as a First Responder. Dawn is a member of Pleasant Plains Baptist Church.
Dawn has always had a passion for helping others. Her goal is to get her Funeral Directors and Embalming License after she serves her internship. Dawn is also employed with Jet Food Stores of Georgia for the past 22 years.

Rev. C.W. Mullis, a minister of 50 years, has joined our staff for the families we serve in Laurens County. At the age of 19 years, Rev. Mullis was offered his first church in Dodge County. At the age of 23 years, he took on his first full time church. He and his wife, of 50 years, Geraldine Mullis moved to Laurens County in 1971. Rev. Mullis is the pastor of the Family Worship Center, on Highway 319 in East Dublin.
